Lobuche East Peak Climb one of the technical peak of Nepal Himalaya towers above (6,119m and 20,192ft) high, the mountain lies hidden from the normal route to Everest base camp, where the peak tucked towards North-West from small settlement of Lobuche.
Lobuche East Peak climb leads you to high and scenic Khumbu valley facing exceptional views of snow-capped peaks all along the walks with gigantic Mt. Everest and magnificent Amadablam with array of mountains.
The climb to the summit of Lobuche East Peak will be done after much preparation and exercise where walk leads to famous Everest Base Camp surrounded by giant mountains with massive Khumbu Ice-Falls and glaciers, and then climb on top Kalapathar the highest point of trek at above (5,550m) high for spectacular panorama of peaks.
After much acclimatization days getting physically fit then ready for exciting climb to the summit of tough Lobuche East Peak, a mountain of great technical skill where the grade is TD which means Technical Difficult from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification Systems.
Truly an outmost adventure with great challenge to conquer this high technical mountain where our expert guide will make much preparation and making the route safer with necessary ledge on ice and snow for safe climb.
Lobuche East Peak Climb actually a straight-forward climb having some technical sections which makes this peak quite challenging than other trekking peaks of Nepal, but with time and patience can be done with proper rest and acclimatization to cope the challenge to the summit of Lobuche East Peak.
Beginning Lobuche East Peak Climb taking a flight to Lukla from the capital Kathmandu, and then heading towards higher areas of Khumbu valley and its scenic hills and ridges with time around nice villages around Phakding-Monjo and famous Namche Bazaar, a place with exciting places to visit on rest days.
Walking higher into beautiful alpine woodland at Thyangboche a place with impressive monastery with amazing views of peaks that surrounds this nice spot, where our walk leads into wild windswept country getting closer to our main adventurous destination at Lobuche East Peak base camp, after visiting Everest base camp.
Climb leads from advance or high camp to make the ascent more accessible to reach its high summit where you will be surrounded with awesome panorama of dramatic landscapes with world highest mountains that encircles you.
After a great challenge and then heading back to Lukla for short scenic flight back to hustle and bustle city life of Kathmandu, with everlasting adventure and memories on Lobuche East Peak Climb.
We will welcome you at the international airport and guide you through the initial culture shock of Kathmandu’s narrow, winding streets to get you settled into your hotel.
In the afternoon (depending on your arrival time) we can take you on a bazaar walk exploring the secret alleys and courtyards of old Kathmandu that most visitors don’t get to experience.
We begin by walking into the old city and exploring the small alleyways, myriad of hidden temples belonging to both Hinduism and Buddhism (in some cases, both!) and make our way through local bazaars of fruit, vegetables, spices and stunning wares made of brass, bronze and copper. Not only exotic produce, but a fascinating mix of people are everywhere; along with the brightly clad locals of the Kathmandu Valley, you’re likely to see ‘Gurkhas’, Sherpa women in their striped aprons, traders from India, and sadhus – Hindu holy men – perhaps on pilgrimage to one of the many temples and shrines of the valley. (Note: this is a walking tour) Overnight in Kathmandu.
After the breakfast, your guided tour will start where you will be taken to most of the historical and spiritual attractions of Kathmandu. You will visit UNESCO World Heritage sites like Durbar Square, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhunath), the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath’ and Buddhist shrine (Bouddhanath), which is also one of the largest stupas in the world. At noon, there will be a pre-trip discussion where you can ask any questions regarding your upcoming adventure. Overnight in Kathmandu.
All treks to Everest begin from Luka where you will be flying to, early in the morning. The flight will be an interesting one since you will be flying amidst the grand Himalayas. The short trek to Phakding begins immediately after you land at Lukla Airport. You will be at a Cheplung village from where you can have a glimpse of Mt. Khumbila. From Cheplung, you’ll continue descending to Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.
The trek begins on uphill and downhill trails with multiple crossings over Dudh Koshi River and a magnificent view of Mt. Thamserku from the Benkar village. You’ll cross more bridges and reach the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo, where the trekking permits are checked. You’ll have to walk furthermore and pass through Jorsale village before reaching Namche Bazaar. From there, you’ll get beautiful views of the Himalayas including Everest, Lhotse, Tawache and others. Overnight in Namche.

This is the first of the three scheduled rest days which will help you acclimatize to the high altitude. You are going to spend the day enjoying small hikes in and around Namche Bazaar. You’ll hike up to Everest View Hotel to enjoy admirable views of the Himalayan peaks. On the way back to Namche you’ll also tour the Khumjung Monastery and Hillary School. You can also visit the Tourist Visitor Center. Overnight in Namche.
Today’s trek begins on an easy trail to Phunki Thanga. From here you’ll ascend towards Tengboche village which is home to the largest monastery in the Everest region. The monastery is located within the Sagarmatha National Park and provide panoramic views of the highest mountains on earth including Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse and Lhotse. Overnight in Tengboche.
Todays trek begins by walking downhill and pass through lush forests filled with birch, conifers and rhododendron trees. The picturesque trail dips down to Debuche crossing the Imja river takes you to Pangboche. While walking the upper Pangboche trails, you can get a more pristine view of the Himalayas and Pangboche Monastery. You’ll have to move towards the Imja Valley, Lobuche River and ultimately climb up to Dingboche. Overnight in Dingboche.
Dingboche is a popular stop for trekkers and climbers who is headed to Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam or Imja Tse. The village is beautiful with an array of fields. You’ll spend a day at Dingboche for acclimatization. You’ll take a day hike to Nagarjun Hill for great views of Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Tawache, Ama Dablam and others. Overnight in Dingboche.
You have to trek along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and passes by stone memorials. You’ll continue to climb as you are heading to the village of Lobuche which is located at the foot of the giant Lobuche peak. Overnight in Lobuche.
You’ll have to moves along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. You can see the crest of the north ridge of Everest along with Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, Nuptse and other mountains. A short walk takes you to Thangma Riju from where you can admire panoramic views of the various peaks. You’ll need to ascend on a steep trail up to the top of Changri Glacier. As you reach Gorak Shep, you are surrounded by the Himalayas. You have to pass through rocky dunes, moraines and streams before reaching the base camp of the world’s tallest mountain, Everest. From there you can admire Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori mountains. You need to trek back to Gorak Shep to spend the night. Overnight in Gorakshep.
You have to prepare for an early morning departure, amid pre-dawn darkness and cold temperatures (-10 to -14 C). Plus, there is always the potential for chilly winds which are quite common. You’ll see peaks like Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse tower. But, it is upon reaching Kala Patthar that you’ll get to see 360 degree up-close and formidable views of Mt. Everest. You can take pictures, enjoy the magnificent mountain panorama, and then return back to Gorak Shep, the groups will have breakfast and descend down to Lobuche for a good night’s rest. You have to start the trek towards Lobuche base camp after having breakfast. You can enjoy the views of Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Pokalde, Thamserku, Kantega and other Himalayas on the way to base camp. Overnight in Lobuche Peak base camp.
Today you’ll have a preparation day for climbing. You can take time to prepare and sort out the trekking gear. You’ll learn some climbing techniques and the proper ways of using climbing gears.This training can boost your confidence and climbing skills and you can fully enjoy the experience. This prior training is not mandatory. Overnight in Lobuche Peak base camp.
From the base camp you’ll have a climb on a rocky moraine path to reach the High Camp. After reaching there, the camp will be set up where you can take rest and have lunch. Overnight in Lobuche east high camp.
Today is an important day. You have to wake up early at around 12 to 1 am and have breakfast before beginning the climb. This summit provides mesmerizing panoramic views of the mountains than any other trekking peak. You’ll get to enjoy magnificent views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Cholatse and Pumori. You can take pictures and have to get back to the High Camp for an overnight stay. Overnight in base camp.
After having breakfast, you have to trek downhill from Lobuche High Camp to the Everest Base Camp route. You have to get down to Lobuche and then to Pheriche. On the way, you’ll get to enjoy magnificent views of Mt. Ama Dablam. You’ll soon reach Pangboche where you can spend the night. Overnight in Panfboche.
Today walk will be a chance to take it easy, as you will descend into drastically lower altitudes to Pheriche. From Pheriche, descend into the valley of the Imja Khola past Orsho and into Pangbuche along a moderate trail. Quickly check out the Gompa at Pangbuche if you didn’t get a chance going up last time, and continue your descent over a bridge and through a forest to Tengbuche, where you may spot native musk deer and pheasants.
After reaching Tengbuche, descend to the river at Phungi Thanga and climb slightly through swaths of pine trees up to Kyangjoma, the final destination for today. Here, Tibetan traders thrive, the temperature is pleasant, and oxygen in the air is plentiful. Overnight in Kyangjoma.
This morning, you will finally return to the lowlands after your last high-altitude treks. Set in a backdrop that offers amazing views of Thamserku and Kangtaiga, you will descend into Namche below and get a chance to visit the local market. Depending on the day, the markets may be bustling with activity as different groups of people gather. Stalls sell everything from rice, eggs, and beer to shoes, kitchen pots, and CDs — all of which used to be carried up by porters before the market was established. If you arrive on a Saturday, you can watch as local Sherpas come in from distant villages to stock up on supplies and replenish the tea houses.
Later in the afternoon, continue your descent into the warmer valley and shed a few layers of clothing. The trek is relatively relaxing, and eventually, you will be back in the Dudhkoshi Valley. Pass your last checkpoint for the day at Jorsale and stop at Monjo. Overnight in Monjo.
You have to descend steeply to Chauri Kharka. On the way you’ll pass Phakding and Cheplung villages. You’ll have a night stay at Lukla. Overnight in Lukla.
You’ll have a flight to Kathmandu in the morning. After reaching the capital city, you have the rest of the day off. You can take a rest in the hotel room or shop for souvenirs for your loved ones. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today is your last day in Kathmandu and is an opportunity to do all the bits and pieces you thought of doing over the past few weeks including any last-minute shopping, returning to places that you enjoyed or didn’t get a chance to visit before your trek. It’s your last day in Nepal! You can grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu. We’ll make sure you arrive the Kathmandu International Airport with plenty of time before your flight to home. This time, we’ll be saying our goodbyes and bid you farewell, armed with warm memories and gorgeous photos to show your loved ones.
