He was born and raised in the lap of Himalayan region of Solukhumbu, Nepal, like many other Sherpa his dream was to work in the trekking field. In 1996, he got his first job in trekking to Annapurna Round, since then he has completed various professional courses like trekking guide in 2000, hotel management trekking food preparation in 2006, national eco trekking workshop in 2007, map navigation and mountain safety training in 2011, photography training in 2015. He got numerous opportunities to serve a wide range of adventure travel lovers from different parts of the world, mostly from Europe, USA, Canada and Australia. In the last two decades, he has been to most of the trekking destinations in Nepal, several times to Tibet, Bhutan, Ladhak and India, and loved to share his experience to make anyone’s journey enjoyable, safe and unforgettable under his company E.B.C. Treks & Expeditions.
