Along the way, we pass small settlements and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Annapurna Region before arriving at the charming village of Ghorepani, surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.

After checking into your local teahouse, take some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere. As the evenings are often cool at this elevation, it is the perfect place to gather around the dining room stove, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and prepare for tomorrow’s unforgettable sunrise hike to Poon Hill.

Trip Notes

Why “Moderate to Challenging”?
The main Khopra Danda route is generally moderate, but the Khair Lake day is long and demanding, with a high elevation of 4,827 m. The combination of altitude, steep sections, and a long walking day makes the complete extension best described as Moderate to Challenging.
