Mr. Dendi Sherpa, born and raised in Okhaldhunga District in the Everest region of eastern Nepal, close to the Solu-Khumbu area, is a Senior Climbing Guide at E.B.C. Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd.
He has been working as a professional climbing guide for many years and has more than two decades of experience leading mountaineering expeditions throughout the Nepal Himalayas.
As an experienced climbing guide, Dendi has successfully guided climbers on popular trekking peaks such as Island Peak, Mera Peak, Lobuche Peak, Chulu East, and Chulu Far East, as well as many other Himalayan peaks. He has also taken part in expeditions to major Himalayan mountains, including Mount Everest, Mount Kanchenjunga, Cho Oyu, Himlung Himal, and Ratna Chuli.
Dendi is also especially well known for leading long and remote journeys on the Great Himalaya Trail (GHT). Because of his experience, knowledge, patience, and ability to work in remote mountain areas, many international guests specially request him as their guide for GHT expeditions.
