Mr. Pan Bahadur Pun is one of the Senior Trekking Guides at E.B.C. Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. He was born and raised in the beautiful city of Pokhara, surrounded by the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayas. Growing up close to the mountains gave him a deep love for nature and a lifelong passion for trekking.
For many years, Pan has been guiding trekkers from all over the world through Nepal’s beautiful Himalayan trails. He enjoys sharing the mountains, local culture, and traditions with every guest. His calm personality, friendly smile, and caring nature help people feel comfortable and welcome from the very beginning of the journey.
Besides working as a trekking guide, Pan was also part of the Glaciological Expedition in Nepal (GEN), where he worked with Nepali and Japanese scientists studying Himalayan glaciers. This experience gave him a better understanding of the mountains and the natural environment.
Pan always puts the safety and well-being of his guests first. He carefully plans each day, walks at a comfortable pace, and pays close attention to how everyone is feeling, especially at higher altitudes. He also takes good care of the trekking staff and porters, believing that respect and teamwork are important on every trip.
Many of Pan’s guests become his friends. They appreciate his kindness, patience, and willingness to help whenever needed. Whether you are an experienced trekker or visiting Nepal for the first time, Pan will do his best to make your journey safe, enjoyable, and full of wonderful memories.
