Mr. Pasang Sherpa is one of the Senior Trekking & Climbing Guides at E.B.C. Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. He was born and raised in Solu-Khumbu, the home of Mount Everest and the world-famous Sherpa community.
With more than two decades of experience in the Himalayas, Pasang has guided trekkers and climbers from many countries on a wide range of trekking and mountaineering adventures throughout Nepal. His experience, calm leadership, and friendly personality help make every journey safe, enjoyable, and memorable.
Pasang is a highly experienced professional mountain guide. He has successfully climbed Mount Everest twice—once from the Nepal (South) side and once from the Tibet (North) side. In addition to Everest, he has guided climbers on several of Nepal’s popular trekking peaks and has taken part in numerous mountaineering expeditions. His strong knowledge of mountain safety, high-altitude trekking, acclimatization, and climbing techniques allows him to lead every expedition with confidence and care.
Besides English, Pasang also speaks Japanese, making it easy for him to communicate with guests from Japan. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of the Himalayas, Sherpa culture, local traditions, and mountain life, helping guests gain a deeper understanding of Nepal and its mountains.
