Mr. Tek Bahadur Thapa, affectionately known as Itey, is a strong, friendly, quiet, and always smiling Assistant Guide at E.B.C. Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. He is originally from Solu-Khumbu District in the Everest region of Nepal.
He has been working in the trekking industry for many years and has gained valuable experience with several trekking companies in Nepal. He has excellent knowledge of many high-altitude trekking routes throughout the Nepal Himalayas. He is also highly experienced in selecting suitable campsites during camping treks and assisting with lodge and teahouse treks.
Whenever the itinerary changes or extra support is needed, Itey often walks ahead of the group to prepare the campsite, arrange accommodation, and ensure everything is ready before our guests arrive. His careful planning and willingness to help keep every trek running smoothly.
He is always ready to carry extra loads if a porter feels unwell during the trek. His willingness to support both the guides and the trekking team is greatly appreciated and helps make every journey safer and more comfortable for everyone.
