Nepal is one of those countries that you leave knowing that someday, you’ll have to come back.
It was our first experience in Nepal, and after some research on the Internet, we were left skeptical. What if the trekking we choose is crowded with tourists? One of our friends recommended that we speak with Thile. He answered all our questions and helped us design a personalized route. We visited fantastic places we would have never visited without him. In each village, he took time to walk around with us, act as an interpreter with the locals, answer our million questions about Nepalese culture. We were able to participate in religious ceremonies, have tea with elders, and sleep in a monk’s house. And at the same time, he respected our intimacy as we were walking, meditating each step in this astonishing decor.
